In 2005, the store «Le Tetras» opened its doors in Annecy, rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, in the heart of the old town. The pottery shop takes its name from the Tétras-Lyre, famous birds of the Savoyard mountains that also appeared on many decorations of old Savoyard pottery.
In 1925, Louise Jacquet (picture), grandmother of Monsieur Jacquet, current owner of the “Tetras“, ran a pottery shop, where she sold Paul Jacquet’s pottery (1883-1968), a renowned national ceramist who was interested very early in the pottery he decorated with traditional Savoyard patterns.
